Se4All Final Newsletter Issue 8 Released

Celebrating Our Impact & Future Horizons

We are delighted to present the final edition of the Se4All Newsletter (“Issue 8”) — a milestone publication that captures the full journey of our project under the Horizon 2020 MSCA Staff Exchanges scheme. Over 54 months of research, innovation, and collaboration, Se4All has connected Europe and Latin America, advancing selenium bio-fortification of dairy systems and functional food production for healthier, sustainable diets.

Inside this issue, you’ll find:

  • A compelling editorial from project coordinator Prof. María Jesús Sánchez Martín, reflecting on our journey and forward vision.
  • A full timeline of our key milestones—workshops in Barcelona, Rome, and Rafaela; science cafés; and secondments across continents.
  • Stories of real-world impact: from Se-enriched alfalfa and dairy trials to consumer studies and SME collaborations.
  • Communication highlights: 13+ secondment news episodes, 15+ videos, over 1,000 social-media followers, and robust website metrics.
  • A look ahead: how Se4All’s legacy will live on through new partnerships, research proposals, and functional-food innovation.

We thank our entire consortium — including Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB), Instituto Nacional de Tecnología Agropecuaria (INTA), Instituto Nacional de Tecnología Industrial (INTI), Universidad Nacional del Litoral (UNL), Beal Organic Cheese Ltd, Sapienza University of Rome, ALBA Synchrotron, and REDINN, as well as to the European Commission for supporting our mission.
