Rome, May 13, 2025 – Today’s Se4All secondment session was hosted at REDINN and featured a guest presentation by Prof. Danilo Corradini from the Italian National Research Council (CNR), Institute for Biological Systems. A leading expert in food chemistry and analytical science, Prof. Corradini introduced the PATHFOOD Horizon Europe project, a flagship initiative focused on improving food safety across Europe.
The session provided a deep dive into:
- 🔬 Advanced analytical techniques used to identify contaminants in the food chain
- 🧪 Food authenticity and traceability innovations within PATHFOOD
- 🌍 The intersection of science and regulation in Horizon Europe frameworks

This session, organized as part of the Se4All secondment and hosted by REDINN, highlighted how European research infrastructure can serve as a model for applied innovation globally.
