Beal Ireland Visits Brescialat Dairy in Argentina

On September 4th, 2025, as part of her Se4All secondment in Argentina, Kate Carmody from Beal Organic Cheese Ltd. visited Brescialat, a renowned family-owned dairy SME in Sa Pereira, Santa Fe. She was joined by Ivana Nieto from INTI, who facilitated the visit.

Hosted by Sergio Herrera, the team toured the facilities and explored the company’s production process, which includes cream, butter, cheeses, and yogurts. The visit offered valuable insights into the artisanal and industrial aspects of cheesemaking in Argentina, further enriching the Se4All knowledge exchange mission.

Brescialat has been recognized for its excellence in dairy innovation, most recently winning the prestigious Santa Fe Cheese Cup 2025 with their semi-hard cheese with eyes — a testament to their expertise and commitment to quality.

This visit exemplifies Se4All’s goal of fostering collaboration between European and Latin American partners, creating opportunities for sharing best practices in functional and sustainable dairy production.
