The Selenium for All (Se4All) project, funded by the European Union’s Horizon 2020 Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions Staff Exchanges programme (Grant Agreement No. 101007630), successfully held its Final Project Meeting on 2 September 2025, hosted in hybrid format at INTA Argentina and online.

The meeting brought together consortium members from Universidad Autónoma de Barcelona (UAB, Spain), Instituto Nacional de Tecnología Agropecuaria (INTA, Argentina), Instituto Nacional de Tecnología Industrial (INTI, Argentina), Universidad Nacional del Litoral (UNL, Argentina), ALBA Synchrotron (Spain), Beal Organic Cheese Ltd (Ireland), Sapienza University of Rome (Italy), and REDINN (Italy).

During the meeting, project partners presented the outcomes of six work packages:

  • WP1: Selenium foliar applications in alfalfa.
  • WP2: Open-field applications and Se-enriched milk production.
  • WP3: Techno-functionality of Se-enriched milk and dairy products.
  • WP4: Consumer studies and sensory analysis of Se-enriched cheese.
  • WP5: Dissemination, communication, and exploitation.
  • WP6: Project management and quality assurance.

This final meeting was a crucial moment to evaluate achievements, share results, and define strategies for future collaborations. The consortium expressed its gratitude to the European Commission for supporting this four-year project, which has strengthened cross-border cooperation between Europe and Latin America in nutrition, functional foods, and sustainable agriculture.
